Today, we will begin writing paragraph two of our five paragraph essay. I've included the description of paragraph two below:
"Write why you believe the book was challenged. You should get this information from your passage finders you completed while reading. Remember, there is no right or wrong answer in this section."
To make sure we include all the necessary information in this section, we will use an accordion paragraph. Just like the MEAL plan helped us organize our evidence and our thoughts, an accordion paragraph will do the same, but in a little bit different format. An accordion paragraph has the following outline:
Topic Sentence
- Reason/Detail/Fact
- Explanation
- Reason/Detail/Fact
- Explanation
- Reason/Detail/Fact
- Explanation
Conclusion
