Five Paragraph Essay Resources

The first draft of your paper will be due this Friday, May 2nd.  This is not the final draft, so it does not need to perfect, but it does need to have all five paragraphs.  I will read through and comment on your drafts, giving feedback and ideas for revisions for the final draft.

Please copy and paste your completed paragraphs into one document, and share this document with me.  Title it, "(Your Name)'s Challenged Book Unit Essay."

To help ensure that you have all five paragraphs of your essay completed, I've included links to the paragraph graphic organizers and examples below.  Make sure to reference the Challenged Book Unit packet for the complete description of the paragraph.

Paragraph 1: Summary

Paragraph 2: Why you believe the book was challenged

Paragraph 3: Why the book was challenged

Paragraph 4: What audience would this book be appropriate for?

Paragraph 5: Your opinion of the challenge
